Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers,

Welcome to Term One at Pakenham Consolidated School, we hope you have all enjoyed the holiday break. We would like to advise and remind our families of a few administration processes that we have in place here to help with the day to day running of our school.

Please ensure that all your child’s/children’s details are correct, if there have been any changes please notify the Administration Office immediately.

If your child/children are going to be absent from school, please call on 03 5941 1511 and follow the prompts to leave a detailed message including your child’s name, class and reason for absence. All student absences MUST have an explanation, this is a requirement from the department of education.
If your child/children are going to be away on extended leave for example, a family holiday or medical procedure, a note will need to be written and submitted to the school for approval by our principal, Katrina Stewart.

We recommend that all students to have a complete change of clothes and a plastic bag in their school bag.

During the year we understand that children may need to be collected early from school due to appointments and family emergencies. We ask that you notify the Administration Office prior to your arrival to give us the opportunity to inform your child. Please refrain from collecting students while they are at recess and lunch play and on Monday afternoons between 2.40pm and 3.20pm as they will be attending our whole school assembly. If you know prior to the commencement of the day please send a note along with your child to give to their classroom teacher.
